History
What is No Comp?
No Compromise Ministries began as a weekend Youth Retreat in 1985. The location was Cook Springs Camp outside of Birmingham, Alabama. There were 3 churches in attendance with a grand total of 59 students!
Since then, retreats have been held in Calera, AL (Rolling Hills Conference Center), Talladega, AL (Shocco Springs Conference Center), Chattanooga, TN (Marriot Hotel and Chattanooga Convention Center), and Gatlinburg, TN (Park Vista Hotel and Conference Center).
From it's humble beginning in 1985, No Comp has expanded to include Student Retreats, one-night Rallies, and Mission opportunities. There have been 24 different retreats, and numerous other rallies and events. Groups of 850+ students and their leaders have gathered for sound biblical teaching, workshops, break-out sessions, concerts, and much more. Here are some of the highlights:
- No Compromise Ministries is interdenominational.
-
Retreats are geared to Youth and College participants (Grade 6 - College-aged), with other events aimed at reaching all ages.
-
A "No Compromise" approach to God and His Word are always the focal point.
-
